Some things about me
Candice Jenkins, MBA, CSM, CSPO
I'm Candice, a senior digital delivery leader and product owner based in Los Angeles. My career started somewhere people don't always expect: as a UX/UI designer and art director.
Back then, dedicated digital project managers didn't really exist. We had "campaign managers," which meant the actual day-to-day project management largely fell to me by default. Being an Art Director was never a passive creative role—I managed teams, drove the work, and built sitemaps before "product" became the industry's favorite buzzword. I came up right as print was going digital. I’m an Elder Millennial and I wear it as a badge of honor: I sliced in Photoshop, laid out print in QuarkXPress, downsized animated GIFs, and have lived through two decades of the industry inventing new tech titles to describe the exact same work.
I’ve proudly delivered award-winning work—like pulling the Proactiv+ brand out of the TV-infomercial dark ages to redesign their entire digital footprint. Over the years, I have driven digital marketing, social and email campaigns, landing pages, and new product launches for brands including Visa, Chase, T-Mobile, Fandango, Rent The Runway, Weight Watchers, and the All of Us Research Program.
That hands-on foundation is exactly why I excel in delivery operations today. I don't just manage a process; I know how the sausage is made. I know how to spot a scope problem a mile away, push back on a design decision with authority, and translate flawlessly between technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing anything in the middle.
I have always been a builder.
From years of tweaking and customizing HTML/CSS, to building and managing my own WordPress portfolios over the last 15-plus years, to architecting this current site in Framer, rolling up my sleeves is just how I operate. Nearly two decades later, that same curiosity is still my engine. It’s why I've spent the last year integrating AI as a strategic operating partner rather than a novelty. Whether I'm leading complex digital delivery across agencies, federal programs, or product platforms, "I don't know how to do that yet" has never once stopped me from figuring it out.
